Biography

Danielle Labhardt, PhD, is a lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on understanding and preventing sexual assault through the use of bystander intervention. Specifically, Danielle has been developing the use of immersive technology in order to measure actual bystander behaviour when witnessing a sexual assault.

Interests and expertise

Research Area: ​

My research interests combine forensic and social psychology. I have a particular focus on bystander intervention, victimisation, prosocial behaviour, sexual violence, and attitudes towards sexual violence and/or helping behaviour. ​

Methodology:​

  • Primarily quantitative analysis however I have experience in​ qualitative analyses (i.e., thematic analysis)​
