Biography

David has 15 years of experience working in senior leadership roles within the UK National Health Service.  This includes roles within Acute and Community settings.  David has also worked in the Middle East where he developed and delivered large scale health transformation projects.

David’s research focuses on leadership across health and social care, and published research in Compassionate Leadership. David has worked with Welsh Government, Public Health Wales, and Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) to deliver an innovative Improvement Programme for Dental Practitioners.  More recently David is working with partners to develop care pathways for Dentistry across Wales.  David has also supported Housing Associations in England and Wales,  Health Board (Wales), Health Trusts (England), and Local Authority departments (including planning, housing, and community development).

Currently, David is delivering a Programme to build capability and confidence in quality improvement across third sector, public sector and healthcare organisations which supports a wider implementation of Individualised Placement Support Services.
