  • Alan Benzie

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters (DLitt), in recognition of his inspirational leadership and outstanding contribution to the development and transformation of Manchester Metropolitan University. The award represents the gratitude of staff and students for his invaluable commitment to MMU.

  • Professor Michael Dexter

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (DSc), in recognition of his distinguished achievements as a scientist in the field of biomedical research.

  • Dennis Dunn MBE JP

    Honorary Fellowship, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development and evolution of Manchester Metropolitan University in Cheshire. The award represents the gratitude of staff and students for his commitment to the University.

  • Ryan Gander

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Arts (DArts), in recognition of his outstanding achievements as an internationally acclaimed artist in the field of conceptual art. The University is proud to be associated with its successful graduates of which he is an exceptional example.

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters (DLitt), in recognition of her distinguished achievements as a broadcaster, journalist and campaigner. Her tireless commitment to protecting children and vulnerable people, through her work with charities and as President of Childline, is an inspiration.

  • Geoffrey Reed

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Education (DEd), in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of music education. His generous support and commitment towards the University provides invaluable opportunities for our students, staff and graduates.

  • Her Honour Judge Tyler

    Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD), in recognition of her distinguished achievements in the field of law and the significant contribution she has made to the region. The University is extremely proud to be associated with its successful graduates of which she is an exceptional example.
