ABOUT MY CAREER

I decided to study at Manchester Met because I love the city and the course covered the topics, I was most interested in. My first role after graduating was in Trade Control (operations) at an investment bank. I found out about the job from a recruiter on LinkedIn who reached out to me and helped me secure the position. In my current role, I am primarily responsible for maintaining trading risk, booking traders, coordinating with sales and brokers, and managing operations partners. Studying at Manchester Met really helped me develop time management and prioritisation skills, which have proven essential for my success in my current position.

MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS

Keep your LinkedIn profile updated and maintain good relationships with recruiters, as they may have opportunities for you in the future.

WHY I LOVE MANCHESTER MET

The lecturers always made extra time to help me with any additional questions I had, assisted me with challenging parts of projects, and even provided guidance in updating my CV.
