About my career

I decided to study at Manchester Metropolitan as the law programme is well known in Hong Kong, with an appropriate timetable and competitive price.

After graduation, I changed two jobs. In the job interviews for these positions, the law degree gave me an advantage, including English competency, capability of reading and understanding the law, research, critical thinking and analytical skills, etc.

The skills I learnt at Manchester Met and have used most so far since graduating are in critical thinking, research, and writing of policies and procedures.

Since completing my LLB (Hons) at Manchester Met, I have completed mediation training and served as a lecturer for the training institution covering risk management, mediation, health and safety, contract law and competition law. I have also completed MSc in Environmental and Public Health Management at HKBU and have issued few publications through the Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Association in 2020 and 2021.

What I loved about my time at Manchester Met

Intensive training with suitable timetable (it was part-time to fit my full-time role and other commitments). All books to support my learning also provided by the University.
