ABOUT MY CAREER 

Manchester Met represented an international opportunity to study a course that was not present in many universities in my country and in my province. Moreover, the online MBA programme was an attractive vehicle to learn business and management as a busy professional. With a truly international class and expert facilitators, the course had a global dimension that expanded my thinking and approach to what I currently do in my business and in my community. The MBA programme is truly worth every effort you put into it. 

I have been in the field of community development and business management for the past 15 years and taking on an MBA at Manchester Met during the onslaught of COVID-19 presented unique opportunities for me to learn new things and recalibrate my business. After my MBA, I continued to work on my consulting business which includes, teaching, coaching, mentoring, and authoring. 

As the CEO and Founder of GlobalStakes Consulting, I help purpose-driven organisations and executives grow their impacts at the local, national, and international levels. Criticality in perspective is something that was well-integrated throughout the programme during my time at Manchester Met. 

MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS 

Learn to be flexible with your career goals as long as it fits with your passion, purpose, and interests. We live in interesting times so bend like a bamboo and learn to ride with the ebbs and flows of it.
