ABOUT MY CAREER

After my undergraduate degree, I started my career as a Project Support Officer. I then became a Project Manager for a financial institution before embarking on an MBA at Manchester Met. After my MBA, I researched job boards, sent my CV to prospective employers and attended job fairs. I focused on the law of averages which is my tip for finding a graduate job.

I am now CEO for one of the fastest-growing sports talent management agencies in the UK and Managing Director at Maigmike Consulting, an IT business and management consulting firm built for the modern age. I intermediate and manage top-performing athletes from all corners of the globe and consult for some of the world’s best financial institutions, consulting firms and biopharma. This involves 360 client representation, contract negotiations, commercial deals and endorsements, professional advice, legal support and financial management. As a multidisciplinary skilled business executive with expertise in delivering and transforming businesses and organisations in the digital age, my speciality revolves around project management, content business strategy, analytical and revolutionary business re-stratification, social entrepreneurship and international business.

During my MBA, I specialised in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and International Business. I am privileged to be utilising this expertise by networking, collaborating and driving both tactical and strategic initiatives that foster long-lasting opportunities for individuals, businesses and organisations looking for long-term sustainability and digital transformation.

Since graduating from Manchester Met, I have developed my career through extra qualifications, training and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) which has enabled me to become a multi-skilled individual.

In 2023, I also released my debut book, One Shot (Business Case for Success): The recipe for Top Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders in the 21st Century, where I was able to share my business experiences and reflections.

MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS

Never give up! Utilising the law of averages is key. Keep applying and researching opportunities. Keep networking and building relationships as this is one strategic way to achieve your desired result. Becoming successful is a product of your personal development. Focus on specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely goals. See you at the top!
