About me

ABOUT MY CAREER

My first job after graduating was as a Buyer at Shell UK. I am currently the Owner, Founder and Managing Director for Maid2Clean Franchise Limited. In this role, my main responsibilities have included the creation of a franchise business model to support franchisees in researching their own locality prior to the launch of their own Maid2clean operation, supply of operations manual, training, support forum, marketing material and creating website presence.

The skills I gained at Manchester Met that I have used most in my career so far are research, general management, critical analysis, organisation and communications skills.

Since graduating, I obtained an MSc in Six Sigma at Solent University in 2009.

MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS

Many of the skills learnt at university are transferrable to the job market including jobs outside of specialist fields of study. You don’t necessarily have to ‘pigeon-hole’ yourself to one specific field.

I’M INSPIRED BY

The writings of Stuart Goldsmith, Ayn Rand, Robert Kiyosaki and people that create business and societal values.

WHY I LOVE MANCHESTER MET

I loved gaining knowledge of how to look at things from a number of angles.
