Alumni are transforming lives

A record number of fully funded student scholarships are now open for application

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, staff and partners, a record number of scholarships funded by donations are now open for application from deserving students on the first year of their degree.

23 scholarships, including ten scholarships generously supported by Ede & Ravenscroft, are fully funded by gifts to the University and are worth up to £5,000 for eligible students.

The University has also launched First Generation, a campaign to provide a complete journey of support for students who are first generation of their family to consider higher education. "I would like to thank everyone who has made a gift towards Alumni Undergraduate Scholarships. This award has provided me with money to buy textbooks, equipment and the resources I need. These in turn have helped me realise the importance of having an in-depth reading and to get a rounded knowledge of each unit I am studying, to improve my grades. It has helped to build my aspirations of not just wanting to pass but to achieve the highest grade I can. Thank-you so much for this opportunity."
