The need for people with digital skills is growing and by becoming a Digital Marketer Degree Apprentice, you will be following an exciting route, where you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively as a strategic Digital Marketing professional.
The Digital Marketer Degree Apprenticeship is a great way of starting or progressing a career in this fast-paced sector. You will work full-time for one of the country’s leading employers or innovative SMEs, while studying towards a fully accredited Digital Marketing Degree with Manchester Metropolitan University.
The programme will enable candidates to earn a minimum starting salary of £12,000 per year and receive all the fantastic benefits of working in a digital marketing role.
Please note that due to delays in the government approval processes, the programme will not be running in September 2018.
You will study a curriculum that is centred on developing a broad understanding of the principles of marketing, web technologies and consumer behaviours. You will also have the opportunity to focus on the skills needed to become a digital marketing specialist in a number of roles, such as:

As well as the academic content, the apprenticeship includes sessions on communication, presentation and team working skills, to help you become a confident digital marketing practitioner.
The programme is taught at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School for approximately 30 days each year. You will attend for an induction week, followed by teaching in two-day blocks, every four to six weeks.
The taught units are complemented by negotiated work-based projects, where whenever possible you will be able to use business challenges and scenarios from your own role as part of your work. You will also have regular updates with your university tutor in person, on the phone or via video chat.
Upon successful completion of the course, you'll achieve a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing.
Candidates for the Degree Apprenticeship should have a minimum of 104-112 points at A2 (Grades BCC) or an equivalent e.g. BTEC DMM. You will also require Maths and English Language GCSE grade A*-C. We will individually evaluate candidates who do not meet these requirements, but have workplace experience.
