Future Talent in the Creative Industries (7th March from 12 noon (with lunch) - G26 Manchester Metropolitan University Business School)
This annual event aimed at inspiring our 3rd year undergraduate and postgraduate students at Manchester Met Business School and Manchester School of Art to succeed in working within the creative industries sector, particularly in Manchester and the north west.
We invite motivational speakers and mentors from industry to share their own experiences, the challenges they faced along the way, and to offer expert advice to our students on how to make it.
Keynotes speakers in recent years included John Kampfner, Chief Executive of Creative Industries Federation, and Wayne Hemingway MBE.
This year’s keynote will be delivered by Kelly Byrne, Head of Marketing Operations for Boohoo.com (and an alumna of Manchester Metropolitan University, having graduated with a BA (Hons) Marketing Management degree in 2005)
We are also delighted to welcome a number of other high profile speakers from the creative industries, including:

For Faculty of Business and Law students taking part in this year’s competition event on the 14th, a number of work experience placements are on offer at the above agencies.
