City Leadership Forum

MMU and Manchester City Council host another major event about world class leadership at the University on Monday, April 30.

Sir Howard Bernstein and Professor John Brooks host the City Leadership Forum in collaboration with the Northern Leadership Academy.

The forum takes place at the Manchester Midland Hotel from 5-9pm with debate on key leadership challenges and issues, followed by a dinner.

The keynote presentation comes from Irwin Turbitt former Assistant Chief Constable of Northern Ireland and a leading proponent of leadership, learning and change in the public services.

VIP speakers

Professor John Brooks, VC of MMU will chair the Forum and Sir Howard Bernstein, CEO, Manchester City Council will speak on ‘leading into the future’.

This second forum follows a launch forum in September 2006 which welcomed leaders of eight Greater Manchester borough councils, the fire, police and prison services, the NHS, development agencies, universities and the professions.
