Bike shelters installed at two campuses

BIKE shelters and showers have been installed at two campuses to encourage more staff to cycle to work.

The staff-only facilities are part of MMU's commitment to its Green Travel Plan and sustainability strategy.

The secure cycle shelters are outside the Geoffrey Manton Building at All Saints and beside the Behrens Building in the courtyard at the Didsbury Campus. To apply for access, please contact the Car Park Office on ext 2989/carparkpermits@mmu.ac.uk

New shower units are on the ground floor of four buildings - Geoffrey Manton, Aytoun, Cavendish North and the Simon Building at Didsbury.

Travel Plan Coordinator Andrew Hough promised more measures in the future to promote sustainable travel as the new campuses start to develop.
