Manchester Metropolitan University

I have accepted a place at another university but wish to study at Manchester Metropolitan University instead.

You need to check UCAS Track to see whether your place has been confirmed or if you have been unsuccessful.

Make sure you understand the UCAS procedure for securing your place at university.

UCAS Track is showing my place as confirmed

If UCAS Track is showing the place you want as confirmed, you are expected to go to your original university. We are happy to talk to you on the Clearing Helpline, but we cannot offer you a place unless your original university formally agrees to release you from your place.

If we offer you a place at Manchester Met, you will need to add the course as your clearing choice on UCAS within a limited time period.

If your results are better than your confirmed offer requires, you can apply to Manchester Met through Adjustment. Find out more about Adjustment on the UCAS website.

UCAS Track shows I’ve been unsuccessful

If UCAS Track shows you have been unsuccessful, call the Clearing Helpline on 0161 247 3000.
