Biography

Dr. Nishanthi Rupika Abeynayake is working as a Senior Lecturer in Statistics in the department of Computing and Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). Before joining the MMU, she worked as a Professor in Applied Statistics at the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. Her research interest is Time-series forecasting, Experimental Design, Econometrics, and Statistics Quality control. She was the President of the Institute of Applied Statistics in Sri Lanka during 2016-2017.
