Chaplaincy

St Peter's Church and Chaplaincy

St Peters House

University is a formative place. It can be a time in life that raises questions about identity, belief and your own personal values. Chaplains are here to help you explore these kinds of questions.

We offer:

~         Pastoral support and care

~         Confidential non-judgemental listening

~         A place of hospitality

~         Space for stillness amidst the hectic demands of university life

~         Activities that engage with your spirituality

~         Social and faith-based events

~         Spiritual accompaniment

Chaplains are available at St Peter’s every week day if you would like to talk about life’s challenges or spiritual matters at your own pace.

Chaplaincy is for everyone, of all faiths or of none.

The Chaplaincy is located at St. Peter’s House on Oxford Road and has a library, common room and places for quiet prayer and reflection.  The Walkway Quiet Room (on the second floor of St. Peter’s House) is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and is a multi-faith space for prayer and meditation.

To make an appointment, call in to reception or email sph.reception@manchester.ac.uk
