Dr. Tim Edensor (MMU)

Dr. Victoria Henshaw (Manchester)

Dr. Sarah MacKian (Open University)

Monday 19th May 2014

5.30pm (tea and coffee in Geoffrey Manton atrium from 5.00pm)

Geoffrey Manton Lecture Theatre 4

This event brings together researchers from MMU and elsewhere who have, in very different ways, considered particular sensory engagements with the environment. Geographies of light, smell, sound, and touch will be dealt with from the perspectives of critical media art practice, architecture and urbanism, and human geography. This event has been devised with interdisciplinarity in mind: we anticipate that the evening will be rich with stimulating and productive connections, across senses and disciplines.
