TV presenters and now authors Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes – better known as “Sam & Mark” – will be launching their first children’s book, The Adventures of Long Arm, at the 2015 Manchester Children’s Book Festival.

When Ricky Mitre, a young boy who is always in trouble, accidently gets his arm stuck down the U-bend of the staff toilet and emerges with a super long arm, his adventures as a brand-new “superkid” are just beginning.

We’re delighted to welcome Sam & Mark to Manchester for this special Festival event. Meet the duo and hear more about the adventures of Ricky and his best friend Sam – and maybe also a little bit about two other best friends, who’ve had some pretty impressive adventures.
