The Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies presents ‘Wild and Strange: Locating Female Sorcery in the Lancashire Witches’.

Linking fact, fable and fiction, Manchester Metropolitan University's Dr Anna Powell presents this intriguing talk as part of International Women's Day. She will discuss the potent mix of gender, place and magic in the 'wild and strange' tale of the Lancashire Witches which has long inspired fiction and fantasy.
