Congratulations to Mark Pajak, a recent graduate of our MA Poetry programme, whose pamphlet 'Spitting Distance' has been awarded an Eric Gregory award from the Society of Authors.
The Eric Gregory Awards, for a collection by poets under the age of 30, were founded in 1960 by the late Dr Eric Gregory for the encouragement of young poets.
Mark wrote his pamphlet during my MMU MA and under the mentorship and guidance of writing school staff. Mark was taught by Carol Ann Duffy and Michael Symmons Roberts.
