At the heart of the Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (MFCIC) is the aim to ensure that sustainable, low carbon energy is accessible to as many people as possible.

The MFCIC will seek to effect real environmental and economic change across Greater Manchester and beyond, by giving business, industry and government access to our research expertise and laboratory equipment – in doing so, sharing the commercial and environmental opportunities heralded by hydrogen and fuel cell technology.

The MFCIC will be launched officially on 27 September in the John Dalton Building, with the Chancellor Lord Mandelson and the Vice Chancellor Malcolm Press attending.
