Manchester Metropolitan University

Fundraise for Manchester Met

Fundraise for First Gen, swim for scholarships, run for research, bake for bursaries...

There are many activities that students, staff, alumni and friends can take part in to raise money on behalf of the University, in support of our prospective and current students.

You can make a donation or ask family, friends and colleagues to support you in your endeavours via one of our fundraising platforms.

Christmas Jumper Day

Whether it be cosy, whacky or simply wonderful, join colleagues and fellow classmates on Friday, 15 December and don a Christmas jumper in support of First Generation. Donate securely online, or drop your loose change in to one of our on-campus café collection boxes to help transform the lives of deserving young people here at Manchester Met.

Christmas Office Decoration competition

Having a departmental Christmas decoration competition? If you haven't chosen a charity, why not consider supporting the First Generation campaign here at Manchester Met. Make the odds a bit higher, up the ante and friendly rivalry and see which department can raise the most money to transform the lives of First Generation Students!

Donating in lieu of Christmas cards

If you are planning to make a donation in lieu of sending cards this year, why not make a gift to First Generation and help us to transform the lives of deserving students.

Join #McrMetProud - Save the date - Sunday, 20 May 2018

Manchester Metropolitan alumni, staff and students took part in the 2017 Great Manchester Run and raised over £450 for the University's campaign, First Generation. The date is already set for 2018 and we will be asking alumni, staff and students to get involved again. If you're thinking of running for charity, why not join fellow alumni, students and staff and run in support of current and future Manchester Metropolitan students - every step counts.
