"This scholarship not only helps financially, but the fact that my hard work and obstacles along the way that I've faced are being recognised, and my accomplishments celebrated, means more to me than any amount of money. I am so grateful to the people who made this happen and for giving me the opportunity to work hard and make them proud, without financial worry."
Rosie (Callan) Kerr, BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, Alumni Undergraduate Scholar 2016
"Being fortunate enough to receive the Alumni Undergraduate Scholarship is incredibly overwhelming and I could not be any more grateful. This generosity will make the world of difference to me and it is now my duty to repay everyone that made this happen by achieving my best results. It is a huge honour."
Klein Regan, BA (Hons) English and Film, Alumni Undergraduate Scholar 2016
"The decision to come to university was particularly challenging as the financial implications meant I would have to work and therefore be unable to spend quality time with my daughter at a crucial stage of her development. Thanks to this Scholarship, I am able to maintain my own work-life balance and offer her new experiences. The most valued aspect of being awarded this scholarship is the recognition and feeling of well-being and value that it ensues. Thank you!"
Amelia Drysdale, BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, Alumni Undergraduate Scholar 2016

I would like to personally thank everyone who donates to the Manchester Metropolitan University Fund, for helping to provide students like me, access to higher education."
Pippa Robinson, BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science, Alumni Undergraduate Scholar 2015
"Taking a gap year gave me some time to travel and work and to think about my future, and what I wanted to do with it. It was then that I realised that coming to university was the best way to achieve my aspirations. Thank you to all who support the Alumni Undergraduate Scholarships, for helping to focus on my studies and to realise my potential."

"I attended Manchester Metropolitan as a full-time mature student and the whole experience gave me supreme confidence to take on any future challenge. Giving financial support so that other students can access this same experience, means a great deal to me."
Alison Booth, Dip Sociology 2002, Manchester Metropolitan University Fund Donor
"As a life-long student, who has derived much pleasure from his studies, I have happy memories of the time in the early 1980s I spent at Manchester Met (or Manchester Polytechnic as it was then). Therefore, when I was given the opportunity to make a regular donation to the University Fund in order to help others gain some of the pleasure and advantages I have had, I was eager to do so. "
