UK Recovery Walk 2014 Conference: Advocacy in Action

This conference will give everyone the opportunity to learn from other social movements that have made the transition from small groups of committed individuals to powerful forces shaping our society.

Featuring speakers from feminism, gay pride, children’s rights and other movements this will not be your usual ‘addiction’ conference.

10.30am Panel One:

  • Tony Mercer (Public Health England): From Harm Reduction to Recovery
  • Dr Kate Cook (MMU): Advocating for Survivors of Sexual Abuse

  • Dr Judith Yates: Advocating for Harm Reduction
