A Culture of Destruction: German Jews and the First World War

Location: Geoffrey Manton Building Room 303

A Culture of Destruction: German Jews and the First World War - Tim Grady, University of Chester

This seminar is the inaugural Sam Johnson Memorial Seminar. Our colleague Sam passed away last December, and is sadly missed in the History section and across the faculty. Sam’s research focused on anti-Semitism, Jewish life in Central and East Europe, and the history of Jewish/non-Jewish relations.

Please join us on Wednesday 7 December at 4.30pm to hear more about Tim’s research and in memory of Sam.

This event is part of the History and Politics Research Seminar Series 2016-17.

All seminars take place in room 303 of the Geoffrey Manton Building. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served from 4pm before every seminar, and please join us in a local pub afterwards to continue the discussion.
