Carol Ann Duffy hosts her hugely successful poetry and music nights at Manchester's iconic Royal Exchange Theatre.

Following the unprecedented success of past seasons, Carol Ann Duffy returns to the relaxed and atmospheric Royal Exchange Studio Theatre to introduce emerging and established writers: readings from the Manchester Writing School’s best new poets - led by our House Poets John Fennelly and Mark Pajak - and a performance by a special guest star of national stature. There’s a chance to meet and mingle with the poets and get copies of their books signed during the interval, and music from the house jazz band. Doors open at 7pm for music and drinks and the event starts at 7.30pm. This special autumn event will welcome Andrew McMillan to the Manchester Writing School ahead of a full season in the spring and summer.
