Learning and Teaching Showcase

The Learning and Teaching showcase is an annual programme in which teaching staff within the Faculty have the opportunity to share best practise in learning, teaching and assessment. Staff gain insight into the various learning and teaching innovations taking place elsewhere in the University, allowing a continuous development and high standard of teaching, delivered consistently to our students.

Last year’s showcase saw themes of online technologies, internationalising the curriculum and enhancing graduate employability discussed and addressed, with presentations on the latest learning technologies and internationalised learning within the curriculum.

This year’s showcase focussed on e-learning; with the student learning experience in HLSS at the forefront of the showcase, and workshops on classroom teaching, online learning platforms, mobile technology and web conferencing. The event provided an afternoon of innovation and inspiration for our continuing delivery of rewarding learning, teaching and assessment.
