This series of events looks “under the bonnet” to examine the mechanics of outstanding contemporary literature. Special guest authors appear in conversation with writers from the Manchester Writing School to discuss the techniques they use and choices they make when writing, and to explore and debate the issues arising from their work or books that they’re interested in. Each evening opens with a short reading from original fiction by students and graduates of the School.
