What do you like most about your course?

I like the range of assignments set. So far in my first year I have completed essays, reports, group projects and mock debates. What I like most about my course is this variety, because it makes assessments interesting, which motivates me to do my work to a high standard.

What skills do you feel you have gained during your studies at Man Met?

I feel my analytical skills have developed greatly during my time here. My lecturers always encourage me to, at the very least, acknowledge all relevant perspectives towards any subject matter when analysing situations. I have tried to apply this emphasis to careful, rational judgement to all aspects of life.

Have you taken part in any extracurricular activities or projects alongside your studies?

I have recently become a member of the Labour Society and look forward to engaging in their activities in the future. As well as working as a Man Met Student Ambassador. 

What is your top tip for other students looking to study this course at Manchester Metropolitan University?

Be a sponge and soak all the information in and then from there break down what is relevant to the work you are doing.
