The Faculty provides a diverse portfolio of innovative undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses across a range of academic disciplines.
Our degree courses are approved, accredited and recognised by over six professional bodies and develop the skills, theory and practical skills required for professional practice and developing successful careers in Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Social Work.
Our undergraduate degree programmes are focused on developing knowledge and practice across the range of the caring and enabling professions. We train our students to become professionals and to have the skills and expertise to gain employment in their chosen fields.
Our postgraduate portfolio has been designed to give our students a competitive edge in the employment market. We have liaised with our colleagues in practice to understand the needs, requirements and challenges that they face and have created a range of professional, specialised and relevant post-graduation training to reflect these needs.
With over 100 postgraduate research students, the faculty offers a lively research community, providing the opportunity to develop research skills and undertake focused study of a specialist area with individual supervision. We offer a range of research degrees at Masters and Doctoral level including the new online MRes in Health and Social Care.
