The Postgraduate Medical School is a new University wide initiative that aims to be recognised globally as an outstanding and innovative School; leading in education, applied research and knowledge exchange.

The School will be home to key taught Masters Programmes, a vibrant clinical research community with a local, national and international presence, and an innovative CPD portfolio shaped to meet the needs of the health and care sector.

The Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Care are working in collaboration with colleagues across the University, city and internationally, to develop models of healthcare delivery and care pathways across a range of clinical areas and expertise.

Our Focus

We are currently working with a number of strategic partners, including Nuffield Health and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, to develop a demand-driven portfolio of specialist postgraduate provision in five key areas.

Postgraduate Research Degrees

The Postgraduate Medical School also offers full or part time study by research via a number of pathways dependent on your circumstances and your existing published work.
