As Interim Director of the Ecology & Environment Research Centre I am responsible for leading and supporting a group of researchers dedicated to conserving our natural resources through the promotion of more sustainable development.

At a Faculty level I also support the strategic development of our external engagement activity designed to enhance the reputation and impact of the University.

I represent the University on Manchester City Council’s Zero Carbon Advisory Group and am Chair of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s Sustainable Consumption and Production Challenge Group.
