Previous employment
Prior to becoming a lecturer/researcher, Eleanor's most recent role was for Radio Regen, a community media charity. She worked to help support the community radio sector through their online presence and by developing a research toolkit.
Over the last two decades, Eleanor has designed websites, created digital content and been a copywriter for various clients and organisations.

Research expertise
My research interests are currently examining the untapped potential for journalism in community radio and issues around online newsgathering during major incidents. Previously I have worked with ethnic minority radio stations to explore identity and communities.
