Students graduating from a Canadian High School will not normally require a Foundation Year unless additional academic support is required.
Canadian High School diploma holders (Grade 12 graduates) are usually accepted, subject to meeting the minimum entry requirements of the University. Please note that Grade 11 mathematics and English and/or above are usually required for most academic courses.
Canadian students who have completed a local Diploma, Associate degree or have studied 2/3 years of a Bachelor degree may be eligible for advanced entry ('Credit Transfer') to an MMU course, subject to a suitable course match and obtaining a minimum GPA.
4 year Bachelor degree with honours with a minimum GPA. Please note that applicants must have completed a research/thesis within their degree
Masters degree with minimum GPA. If you don’t have an appropriate masters level qualification prior to entry, you will be advised to enrol on an MPhil then apply to transfer to the PhD later.
For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.
For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.

The scholarship will be awarded automatically when you enrol and no application is required.
Please note you will not be notified that you have been awarded this scholarship and your offer letter will still quote the original (full) tuition fee, however if you are eligible it will be awarded after you enrol and before your fees are due. Your CAS will also include information about the scholarship.
This £2000 can be applied to your deposit, but please bear in mind that you will still need to cover the remaining balance.
