General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level
Cambridge Higher School Certificate or Ordinary Technician Diploma
Certificate holders (awarded by a university) may be eligible for Year 2 entry; Diploma holders (awarded by a university) or Higher Technician Diploma holders may be eligible for Year 3 entry
Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) or Mauritius General Certificate of Education GCE O Level English Language with minimum grade C
For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.
For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.

We are pleased to offer scholarships worth £2000 each, to new undergraduate Manchester Met students who are a national of, or permanently domiciled in, the USA.

The scholarship will be awarded automatically when you enrol and no application is required.
Please note you will not be notified that you have been awarded this scholarship and your offer letter will still quote the original (full) tuition fee, however if you are eligible it will be awarded after you enrol and before your fees are due. Your CAS will also include information about the scholarship.
This £2000 can be applied to your deposit, but please bear in mind that you will still need to cover the remaining balance.
