Entry requirements if you have studied in Oman

Foundation Year

Holders of Thanawiya Amma (Secondary School Leaving Certificate ). Holders of a 1 year Post School Certificate may be considered for a Foundation Course.

Undergraduate Courses

Completed Year 1 at an Omani University may be considered for Year 1 entry. Holders of recognised Foundation year may also be accepted.

Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

Post School 2 year Diploma; 3 year Higher / Advanced Diploma, from a Higher College of Technology, may be considered for Year 2 or 3.

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor Degree

MPhil/PhD

Master's degree

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
