Entry requirements if you have studied in Tanzania

Foundation Year

Certificate of Secondary Education, Secondary School Leaving Certificate or Post-school Certificate

Undergraduate Courses

National Form VI Examination or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ASCE)

Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

Higher Diploma holders may be eligible for Year 2 entry; Advanced Diploma holders may be eligible for Year 3 entry

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor's degree

MPhil/PhD

Master's degree

English Language Requirements

Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) or East African Certificate of Education (EACE) English Language grade 6 or above

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
