Join our focus groups this November and make a difference to our University

Share your views to pocket a £10 Amazon voucher!

We love to hear your thoughts on all aspects of the student experience and enjoy working together to make our University even better.

There are many ways for your student voice to be heard and this November, we have some exciting focus groups that you can get involved in as well.

The three focus groups will explore:

For each of the focus groups you attend you will receive a £10 Amazon to say thank you for your time – perfect timing for Christmas!

First years - how you found your first few weeks?

What has helped you settle in or have you found frustrating or difficult? What could we have done better to support you? We are keen to find out how the start of university is going for you!

These focus groups are open to first year undergraduate or postgraduate students only and discussions will help shape future induction programmes.

How you would like to see communications to students improved?

The ‘Student Communications Focus Group’ is your opportunity to tell us what you think about communications at Manchester Metropolitan University and how you would like to see it improved.

These sessions are open to all - get involved to help shape future communications to students at Manchester Met!

How should the University support students who experience sexual misconduct?

We are seeking students’ views on how universities should respond to and support students who report an incident of sexual misconduct. The focus groups form part of a collaborative study run by five North West universities.

The focus group sessions will be held in early December - times and locations to be confirmed.

Participants will not be asked about their personal. Support will be available from the University’s Counselling, Health and Wellbeing team.
