Free sports and activities

Monday 24 April – Sunday 28 May, various times, Manchester Campus.

MMU Sport host a range of free sports, activities and classes on and around campus. You can simply turn up to - no booking, no fee, no kit needed - just turn up in the right clothes and frame of mind!

Recoverism and the Arts: Driving change through collaborative research

Tuesday 25 April, 10am-3.30pm, in the Benzie Building.

The aim of the conference is to demonstrate the impact of arts in supporting recovery. In doing so we aim to inspire attendees to create future collaborations that encompass practitioners, policy makers, researchers and communities affected by or in recovery from addiction.

Masterclass: How To Create a Culture of Trust in your Business

Tuesday 25 April, 1.30pm-4.30pm, in the Business School.

You can try to manage performance, instil a healthy culture and create a positive team spirit as much as you like but if you don’t trust your team and they don’t trust you, then you will come up against numerous barriers. In this session we will help you to identify what ‘trust’ really means. You will identify how to build it, how to sustain it and how to rebuild it when its lost.

MCR Student Night Out

Thursday 27 April, 4pm-8pm, at Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre.

Manchester’s biggest student shopping night returns. Watch the city come alive with Capital FM DJs, street food, top brand pop-up stalls, Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Thunder and Lightning Roadshow, and lots of freebies and giveaways.

Manchester School of Theatre performance: Earthquakes in London

Thursday 27 – Saturday 29 April, various times, at Home.

MMU Madinah Society presents… How to Find Time and Be Motivated

Friday 28 April, 3.30pm-5.30pm at the Business School.

Deadlines just around the corner? Finding it hard to balance your revision time? Guest speaker Sheikh Imran Muhammad will be delivering an inspirational talk on how to balance time and control stress. This event is free, and open to all.
