Manchester Met ranked as the UK's greenest university
Manchester Met is first in this year's People and Planet University League published in The Guardian and ITV news.
The Environment Team is leading the substantial number of activities related to the environmental management of the University. A number of colleagues have been instrumental in these activities.
Faculty colleagues involved include Liz Price who has been a great leader in terms of the integration between academic work and estates department work. Other colleagues contributing to education for sustainable development, environmental management systems, and biodiversity management at Manchester Met include Valeria Vargas, Kosta Tzoulas, Stuart Marsden, Rachel Dunk, Jane Mork, Hannah Matthews, Theresa Nicholson, Chris Paling, Mike Fernando, as well as many others.”
