Research is based at our Cheshire campus and close collaborations with Manchester Met’s Sport and Exercise Science Department and Health Research Network, enables researchers to have exclusive access to key research populations.
In the Health Exercise & Active Living Research Centre interdisciplinarity is pivotal to the research approach. Biomechanists and physiologists collaborate on projects including lifestyle interventions and Health Apps. Physiologists work alongside psychologists to determine markers of healthy ageing, whilst our Motor Cognition researchers collaborate with clinicians to develop rehabilitation interventions.
Check if you meet our standard university entrance requirements for research degrees. For details on applying see our applications page. You will also find it helpful to consult the fees information for potential Home/EU and Overseas students.
