At the School of Computing, Mathematics and Digital Technology we have a wealth of knowledge, experience and facilities, and are able to provide a wide variety of services to external organisations
The School delivers bespoke training in its areas of expertise and can also accredit in-house training programmes. Individual units from the School’s MSc programmes can also be taken to aid continuing professional development.
Our School has well established links with industry and commerce. Academic staff work closely with organisations on a broad range of projects that draw upon the School’s diverse expertise. We are keen to engage with businesses via enterprise activities that promote the transfer of knowledge. The school also has a track record of success in consultancy and through the commercialisation of research ideas.
Our undergraduate students can take part in a year in industry, whilst final-year and MSc students regularly collaborate with industry. Our collaborative projects offer businesses the chance to employ skilled students, while placement students gain valuable experience of the sector.
