My profile

Biography

I have two main research interests. The first is the Sociology of Education, and how our educational experiences both shape and are shaped by our sense of identity. The second is quantitative research methods. More specifically, I am interested in learning how we can develop new techniques to measure concepts in a quantifiable manner. My doctoral studies focused on how to design measures of attitudes to mathematics in young children along with the external factors of those attitudes. I am passionate about education and improving quantitative research skills within the Social Sciences.
