Continuing Professional, Personal and Practice Development (CPD) Modular Scheme 2013 entry

This flexible, modular programme is designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of health care professionals. With entry points throughout the year, we deliver a diverse selection of multiprofessional units (eg research, mentorship and leadership), as well as units specific to subjects such as nursing, medicine and public health. The aim is to provide a structured yet flexible student experience for those wishing to develop professionally and personally within the fields of health and social care. Students range from those wanting to follow a very specific career path to those whose aspirations are more flexible and evolving. We cater primarily for people already qualified/experienced in the health and social care field.

  • You can select the units that you wish to study according to your personal interest, your professional development needs or at the request of your employer.
  • This course includes a number of professional units, including non-medical prescribing, mentor preparation, the overseas nurses unit and return to practice.
  • Once students have successfully gained 60 credits, they can apply for a BSc (Hons) Contemporary Health Practice (level 6 credits) or the MSc Practice Development (level 7 credits)
