This is a quality assurance and partnership development role. We work across the partnership quality assuring and supporting the development of initial teacher training provision, sharing and supporting good practice.
My profile
Biography
I taught in secondary schools in Trafford, Manchester, Salford and Stockport. I led a Training school in Stockport prior to being seconded to the Training and Development Agency (TDA) as a Training School Consultant for the Northwest and West Midlands. In this role I was responsible for the development of ITT in 70 Training Schools and the promotion of partnership with ITT Providers at national level. I then moved to become Head of the ITE Partnership (Primary, Secondary and FE) at MMU. Following that I took up a role at the DfE as a Policy Lead for ITT which involved the development of the Teaching School programme, School Direct and the expansion of School Centred ITT (Scitts). I am now a Partnership Tutor at MMU supporting School Direct alliances and school mentors in Trafford, Salford and Manchester.
