RESEAECH INTERESTS

My research has focused on the biological and cognitive behavioural processes in adults and how these systems may differ in those with emotional vulnerability - exploring the systems through which anxiety and fear is acquired and can be modulated.

I am also interested in;

  • The impact of stigma and discrimination attached to mental health and neurodiversity.
  • OCD and contamination fear
  • Flow-experience:
  • Green exercise and open spaces - an avenue to attention restoration, mental wellbeing and resilience.
