My profile

Biography

Academic and professional qualifications

I obtained my PhD in 2012 from the University of Leeds looking at the types of visual information humans use from their environment during high speed locomotion. I am interested in visual perception, brain imaging, locomotor control, and gait in both healthy populations as well as people with Parkinson’s.

Research outputs

I am interested in the human visual system, and how we use visual information for action. More specifically I am looking at the example of high-speed locomotion and eye-movements using driving as a paradigm. In addition, I am interested in cases where there is a problem with the visual system, and the effects this has on perception and action.

Other areas include (but not limited to) visual working memory, stereo-vision, and stereo-motion.
