Grace Johnson

Prior to joining MMU I was a class teacher for fifteen years. I have taught the whole range of ages from Nursery to Year 6 in three very different schools. During my teaching career I had the roles of literacy lead and art and DT subject coordinator. I was a member of the Senior Leadership Team as Head of KS1.

As part of my MA Education study I did some research comparing pupils’ and teachers’ perceptions on what is effective learning. I am passionate about developing skills to make children effective lifelong learners and developing key skills for effective learning.
