ABOUT MY CAREER
I studied at Manchester Met because of the opportunities open to me after graduating from my chosen course.
I was already working as a Foreign Trade Service Officer at the Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines whilst undertaking my Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law. As a diplomat in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), I assist Chinese and foreign investors in Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR who would like to expand their business in the Philippines. I also assist Philippine businesses that would like to bring their products and services in Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR.
I have always loved the law profession since I am a lawyer in the Philippines. My study of the Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law allowed me to broaden my knowledge of common law.
After graduating, I continue to develop my career through joining seminars and conferences to enhance my knowledge in law.
MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS
First, you must love what you are doing. Second, you must believe in your own abilities and talents. Lastly, you must use your knowledge to help people who are in need.
