About my career

In my view, Manchester Metropolitan University has been at the forefront of providing Legal Education in the UK and quite interestingly in the Commonwealth Caribbean. As a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, I was a beneficiary of the agreement which allowed students of my nationality holding a UK-based LLB to finish the final year of study for qualification in the UK. I was introduced to Manchester Metropolitan senior officials at university open day here in Trinidad. From there, there was no turning back.

After finishing my Legal Practice Course (LPC), I went straight into private practice.

As an Attorney at Law in private practice, I manage civil litigation matters as well as probate, estate and land administration matters.

My top tip for students

Confidence is everything!

I’m inspired by

Simplicity.

What I loved about my time at Manchester Met

Manchester Metropolitan is student-friendly, learning-oriented, support-based and driven by innovation in education.

It’s a home away from home.
